Aharapada (10 km)* - Aharapada is famous for its Bhadrakali temple. Goddess Kali is the presiding deity made of granite stone having four arms. Kalipuja in Oct-Nov is the main festival which is observed here for seven days.

Aradi (42 km)* - A beautifull spot on the bank of the river Vaitarani known as the scared Ganges of Orissa, Aradi is famous for the saiva shrine of Lord Akhandalamani. Hundreds of pilgrims visit the place daily for a Darsan of the Lord. Many of them come to seek relief from physical ailment they suffer from on the basis of local belief. It is 110 km from Balasore. One can also negotiate the place by boat from Chandabali through the river.

Dhamra – (100 kms) On the confluence of the rivers Vaitarani and Brahmani where they meet the sea, Dhamra naturally has a special appeal for the tourists. It is 100 kms km from Bhadrak. It can also be visited from Chandbali by boat.

Chandabali – (50 kms.)* 120 km from Balasore, Chandabali has been a famous river port since mediaeval time. The tourists can enjoy a boat journey by river route to Aradi,Dhamra and Bhitarananika Wild Life Sanctuary from Chandabali.

Dhamnagar (30 km)* - The tomb of Maullana "Hazrat Mujahid-e-Millat Maulana Shah Mohammad Habibour Rahaman" attract the Muslim visitors from with in and outside the State. "Urs" is the main festival (Jan-Feb) observed here. Regular bus services are available from Bhadrak to the spot.

Guamal Nuasasan (15 km)* - The place is famous for the temple of Kumareswar Siva. The calm and quiet atmosphere of the spot attract a large number of visitors.

Dapanaikani (Iswarpur) (34 km)* - The temple of Dapanaikani in village Iswarpur is the main attraction.

Bhitarkanika ( 40kms via Chandbali)* - The Wildlife Sanctuary (a Ramsar Site) is the largest mangrove forest in Orissa. Bhitarakanika is the Sanctuary of Estuarine Crocodiles.
